COUPLES THERAPY

When the relationship matters — and yet something no longer works.

────────────────────────────────────────

Many couples do not come to couples therapy because they no longer care.
But because they do — about each other, about the relationship, about their family — and yet keep getting stuck at the same points.

────────────────────────────────────────

Perhaps you argue more often than you used to.
Perhaps you hurt each other with words — even though the relationship matters to you.
Perhaps you feel that between everyday life, responsibilities, children and work, you have lost each other as a couple.
Or you find yourself wondering how something that once felt easy has become so exhausting.

────────────────────────────────────────

In couples therapy we create a space in which all perspectives can be heard — not with the aim of attributing blame, but to better understand what is happening between you.

Because many conflicts do not arise from a lack of care or empathy, but from misunderstandings, disappointments, unspoken needs and entrenched patterns.

────────────────────────────────────────

Couples come with recurring conflicts and communication patterns, with emotional distance and estrangement, with questions around trust, intimacy and sexuality — or simply with the feeling that the connection between them has been lost.

────────────────────────────────────────

"We keep going around in circles."
"We never actually argue about what really matters."
"We love each other — but we can no longer reach each other."
"Whatever I say, it comes across the wrong way."
"We used to be a team."
"I feel alone in everything."
"Things can't go on like this — but I don't know how they could be different."
"I don't feel seen — even though I give everything I have."

────────────────────────────────────────

In couples therapy we look together at what keeps conflicts alive, which needs go unheard and what can become visible when all perspectives are given space.

Individual sessions can also be valuable in this context — because not everyone is ready or able to look at the relationship together. Sometimes change begins where one person gains new perspectives and acts differently.
