FAMILY COUNSELLING

When family life has lost its balance.

────────────────────────────────────────

Many parents who come to counselling have already tried a great deal. And are still stuck.

────────────────────────────────────────

Perhaps you sometimes react to your child in ways you never wanted to.

Perhaps you feel that you and your partner are not pulling in the same direction — even though you want to.

Perhaps you sense that your child is carrying something — but you don't know how to start the conversation.

Perhaps you have tried everything — every conversation, every approach, every piece of advice. And yet things still go around in circles.

Or perhaps you simply wish it could feel easier again — without being able to say exactly what is wrong.

────────────────────────────────────────

Family counselling is not about finding the right answers or assigning roles.

It is about understanding together what shapes the dynamics in your family — which patterns keep repeating, which needs go unheard, and what becomes possible when everyone is given space to be heard.

Because behind most family conflicts there is rarely ill will. More often there is exhaustion, unspoken expectations and patterns that have developed over years.

────────────────────────────────────────

Families come with recurring conflicts between parents and children, with sibling rivalry and entrenched roles, with the feeling that parenting has become exhausting — or simply with the question of how to live more together rather than alongside each other.

────────────────────────────────────────

"I say the same thing for the hundredth time — and nothing changes."

"We argue about the children, but actually it is about something else."

"I no longer know whether I am too strict or too lenient."

"Our family used to be different. I don't know when that changed. I no longer recognise us."

"I have the feeling that everyone is living in their own world."

"Whatever I do — somehow it is never enough."

"I am worried about my child — but I don't know how to help."

────────────────────────────────────────

In family counselling we look together at what keeps conflicts alive, which needs go unheard and what becomes possible when everyone has a chance to be heard.

Not everyone needs to be present at every session. Sometimes it makes sense to start as a couple, or as an individual.

Because sometimes change begins where one person gains a new perspective and acts differently.
